This is version 4 of the RaspiRobot Board motor controller and robot interface board.

New in this version:

  • Buck-boost power supply making the board more resilient to battery voltage drop and even able to power your Pi from a 3V battery pack.
  • Raspberry P 2/3 style 40 pin connector
  • On/off switch
  • Two Servo connections
  • Extra GPIO connections to GPIO pins 4, 10, 9, 9, 11, 20 and 26

The board still has the original HC-SR04 rangefinder socket and an I2C interface socket as well as two pin headers connected to GPIOs 20 and 26 intended for use with switches.

There is a new Python library to download for the board from See the documentation on github for using the library. Please note that the rrb4 library is python3.
